3A molecular sieve is a kind of alkali metal aluminon-silicate, the potassium form of the type A crystal structure. The pore size of 3A molecular sieves is 3 angstrom and the limit of adsorb molecular diameters is 3A. The approximate chemical formula is K72Na48[(AlO2)12(SiO2)12]•XH2O

A variety of applications including:

  • Dehydration treatment of unsaturated hydrocarbon gas, such as petroleum cracking gas, ethylene, propylene, butadiene, acetylene, etc.
  • Drying polar liquids, such as methanol and ethanol, etc.
  • Drying refrigerant and insulating glass gas
  • Drying food grade gas, such as CO2, O2, N2, etc.
